TV applications solution firm Accedo has announced the next generation of its Accedo VIA solution, which enables rapid deployment of fully-featured multiscreen services across all major OTT device platforms.
Two new offerings will now be added to the existing solution’s core Accedo VIA Applications: Accedo VIA Go and Accedo VIA Development Kit (VDK).
Accedo VIA Go leverages Accedo’s ten-year track record of delivering TV application solutions for the market to create what the company describes as a “configuration-driven†end-to-end solution featuring an innovative state-of-the-art UX suitable for a new generation of video services, with an attractive Opex business model and upgrade path.
Powered by the award-winning application configuration and management platform, Accedo AppGrid, VIA Go is designed to provide a high level of flexibility in applications and web services.
Accedo VDK is aimed at customers with high customisation requirements, and makes building multiscreen OTT offerings “a streamlined and well-defined processâ€, according to Accedo. It encompasses a number of pre-built modules and frameworks, increasing quality levels and speed of development, while still retaining the flexibility required by advanced customer deployments which feature unique and customised UX designs.
Accedo will be showcasing Accedo VIA Go in its booth (14.E14) at IBC.
